I then created a brand new profile and imported the accounts using the
built in profile migration tool but I still have this view.

I disabled group viewing but it still looks like this.

Is it the multiple lines per message that you are trying to eliminate.
You have it set to card view. Use the Message List Header button on the
far right that looks like this to switch back to table view.

You could just hit the little 'twisty' > arrow on the left column of the
headers. That opens it up so you don't get the 'grouped' effect.
Yes, and as mentioned, that config edit change.

If you want to show of your client you use you can make the following
changes in the prefs:

mailnews.headers.showUserAgent true
mailnews.headers.useMinimalUserAgent false
