There is a message from me on 2023-12-8 from myself (Re: 400 Bad
Request), then nothing till his message today.

On this machine, anything posted from Google Groups is automatically
deleted. I was forced to do that yesterday.

On another machine I do see messages in between, subject "Two computers
display graphics differently"; however, I do not get the "no messages"
thread.

Both machines use "individual.net"; the difference is that this machine
uses leafnode and an older kernel.

To filter on the poster? Or to filter on posters still using Outlook
Express? "just a test" in the body would be too unfocused causing too
many false positives. Or yet another defect in Tbird since Supernova?

Yes, I know that TB doesn't do proper xpost management, which is *why*
when a thread is xposted I tend to kill it in the group(s) it's less
relevant in, leaving it only in the relevant one.

I don't.

In a perfect world I would, but this is not a perfect world. There is a
point in a thread where someone decides to delete some of the groups in
the xpost, so some, maybe useful, content disappears from the group that
I read.
