You should fix that. It's a fantastic show.

It's currently streaming---in fresh HD scans that are a lot nicer than
the DVDs---on HBO Max.

Let's just hope it doesn't get interfered with by clueless so-called
executives (with checklists in hand) who completely screw it up. :-(

Even by the time of Crusade, I remember one interview he, or someone else
close to him, gave afterwards and said that executives were on the bridge
of the Excalibur set and were asking clueless "how would the crew know
this or that ?" type questions.

B5 worked because JMS was left alone for the first 4 years and even in
the final year, after he had been forced to adjust his plans, it still
mostly worked.

Having "shades of grey" personalities for the main B5 characters was also
a really good move and having characters move between lightness and darkness
was also another really good move.

I wonder if that would be allowed these days.

Never watched B5, but this sounds like the sort of character interplay which is
a feature of "The Expanse".

From his postings it sounds as if he thinks he's pretty much going to
have a free hand and will be able to tell the story he wants.
