When I start Firefox, I get the following (RED highlighted) message...

"The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of
Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software
can cause this problem"

https://i.postimg.cc/6pdY2t0z/The-bookmarks-and-history-system-will-not-be-functional-because-one-of-Firefox-s-files-is-in-use-by.png

What happened just before this was...

In the middle of the night, I noticed my computer was busy churning
away. Not sure why so I shutdown the internet (to prevent unwelcomed
cyber activity). Then, the RED message keeps popping up when I start
Firefox.

Any ideas ?
