In playing around with AIX PS/2, dummy me, I attempted to install Xwindow Station Manager before installing X11. I went ahead and installed X11, and then re-installed Xwindow Station Manager, but now I have a LPP queue entry that is stuck and I'm not sure how to resolve it.

/etc/lpp/lconfig tells me...

QUEUE-ENTRY#= 17
LPPNAME= x_st_mgr
VERSION-RELEASE-LEVEL= 01.30.0000
ACTION-TYPE= Install-Upgrade
ACTION-PHASE= apply
REQUIRED-SIZE= 0

No clue what the actual problem is. When I run /etc/lpp/qproc, it gives me the very descriptive:

qproc: Processing queue entry 17 of 23
Applying local changes for x_st_mgr
Error: local update failed

I'm not sure what the next course of action should be? What log(s) should I analyze?

Any pointers would be very much appreciated!
