Hello!

I read that SM supports OpenSearch, but where can I add a search engine
that provides a search plugin?

In Pale Moon there is there is the search bar with the drop-down menu,
but where is that in Seamonkey?

kind regards
Marco

Edit -> Preferences -> Browser -> Internet Search -> Manage Search Engines

I don't know if you can add a choice but there are eight listed to start
with.

Hmm! I wonder what the difference is between 'DuckDuckGo' and
'DuckDuckGo (Global)'!!

* Visit a site that provides OpenSearch.
* Right-click in the navigation toolbar (e.g. on the site's favicon).
* Select "Cutomize ..."
* Drag the "Search" bar to an appropriate place.
* Click on "Done".
* In the search bar click on the down arrow.
* Select "Add 'sitename'".

Now you can use that site's OpenSearch feature in the search bar.

Maybe parameters for localization that will be passed in the URL.
Is there a search.json for SM?
I can only find an lz4 compress file that seems to be binary.
