The tiny up and down arrows in the scroll bar slot are hidden
until the mouse pointer is moved there. (The bar itself is
always visible though.) I can't see any settings for this
behavior, to make them always visible.

I'm using 2.53.18 beta for the last month or so. (Maybe it's
always been this way and I just didn't notice til now.)

Is there a setting I missed, or any way to make these arrows
permanently visible? Maybe in about config?

I appreciate any help.

Are you running SeaMonkey on Windows 11? The disappearing up and down
arrows is is a Windows 11 OS feature not seen in earlier versions of
Windows.

Thanks. Yes, I installed it a week ago. Many things I don't
like. But it's strange that other programs don't have the same
problem. Things look normal in edge, for example.

I wonder if there's a way of turning that setting off in Windows 11, a
bit of Online searching could throw something up. Any idea what this
feature is called?

I have that set, and the scroll bar shows, but not the little
up and down arrows. They are still hidden until the mouse moves
near them.
