Someone reported problems with gmx.com addresses a month or so ago, now
they have hit gmx.net.
Reading mails via pop3 is unaffected, but I am having problems with the
html interface https://www.gmx.net/
The problems occurred after I upgraded to the new Seamonkey level but
that may well just be a coincidence.

So when do I log in via html? I get mails every night if my spam filter
blocked a new spam message (and none if there were none).
The first time I tried to log on after installing 2.53.18, I could not
get in at all. It said it had sent me a mail with an access code and I
could retrieve that via the Android app. It lied, there was no mail,
and asking for a new one got me nowhere - something which makes me sure
this was caused by new software on their servers and it has nothing to
do with 2.53.18.
Now I can log in, but the area where the mail index should be is blank.

This is not the end of the world - the Android app gives me the same
functionality - but since it probably affects both frg and Dirk F, it is
probably worth looking at.

With JS disabled in 2.53.18, I see login fields above the news items.
Entering those takes me to a new login page where I have to re-enter the
username+password, and also a captcha (now solved better by bots than
humans), giving a blank page.

Enabling navigator.gmx.net JS gives me an "unsupported browser" page
where I can select the "reduzierte" email client. However this now needs
the lightmailer-bs and dl subdomains of gmx.net to have JS enabled.
