Hi,

when I start SeaMonkey with add-ons disabled and go to
https://www.oreilly.com/search/ I see a mostly unusable page and
SeaMonkey uses 10% CPU time on Windows 10 64-bit. On Fedora, X.org uses
about 75% CPU time with the same page.

What a truly pitiful website. Presumably they didn't read any of their
own books. It doesn't work with 2.53.17.1 (32bit) either. If you change
view -> style to None some of the links work.

I think there's two different things going on.

a) styles are broken on seamonkey, so the page doesn't render properly

b) the site calls out to dozens of other tracking and ad sites which all
try to run at once, and call out to even more sites.

Regarding X.org, can you try logging on to Fedora using Wayland instead
of X.org?

In addition, try using NoScript to see if the CPU is the same
