Hello all,

After updating to Seamonkey version 2.53.16 (and also 2.53.17) my Mail UI got completely garbled,
specially when I use the "open message in a new tab" function.

Returning to version 2.53.15 solved all problems, but I keep getting that "update offer"
pop-up window opening by itself several times a day.

Is there any way to disable that ?

1. On the SeaMonkey menu bar, select [Edit > Preferences].

2. Under Category on the left side of the Preferences window, select
[Advanced > Software Installation].

3. On the Software Installation tab, uncheck the third checkbox (under
SeaMonkey) for "Automatically check for updates".

4. On the Software Installation tab, select the OK button.
