Hello. I'm a native korean speaker and I want to translate SeaMonkey to
my own language.
There existed a unofficial korean langpack for Mozilla and Netscape 8 a
long time ago that I can take as a reference, but other than that it
seems like I'm on my own here. I can't find any guides for starting a
new translation, could anyone who knows better please help?

Best regards,
Yuchan Seo

SeaMonkey is currently translated via mozilla Pontoon:

https://pontoon.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/

Would first need to get ko added to SeaMonkey. Then you can start translating.
Translations are for central only where SeaMonkey is currently broken but we
merge them manually back to 2.53 into our heptapod and glitlab l10n repos:
https://foss.heptapod.net/seamonkey/l10n-release.

I am unfamiliar witn pontoon. Maybe create a bug in
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?product=SeaMonkey&bug_status=__open__

and I can ask IanN for help. When the translations are halfway complete adding
the language to the shipped locales is easy.
The help viewer can not be translated via Pontoon. We usually ship en_US for
most languages these days. Translating it would be a huge task so if you want
to tackle it later we can figure something out but first things first.
