Then it looks like we're left with user error. If you open one of the
internal web pages, like about:performance, you can click the star icon
at the right end of the address bar to save it as a bookmark. Or, maybe
you imported bookmarks, and some about: pages were in the old bookmarks.

You did a nice job cropping that picture so the entire popup window
isn't displayed. The window title could be to the right.

The Firefox layout is customizeable. Your layout is slightly different
than Brian's. Brian's is slightly different than mine. In my layout, the
window title is centered on that top line. On Brian's, it's left
justified. You may not be displaying the same top line as Brian, or the
window title might still appear, just to the right of where you cropped
the image.

You're still playing games. You're still gaslighting. Brian provided
evidence that the window title does indeed display even if you tell
wanton lies that Brian's evidence is false.

The code still contains the title of that window even if in your display
settings, it isn't displayed.

What happens with your screen settings is irrelevant. You called me a
liar even though the window title is clearly "Library", as confirmed by
any number of other people. You literally had nothing to contribute to
this thread aside from cheap shots, vitriol, and paranoid attacks upon
your enemies, which appear to include all other Usenet posters.

I was expecting this, Vanguard. This is how you behave. This is how
you always behave. Here comes the part in which you demonstrate that
you weren't listening to begin with, offer erroneous guesses, and make
condescending remarks. You aren't being helpful. With every followup,
you get more and more unhelpful.

>If you open one of the internal web pages, like about:performance, you
>can click the star icon at the right end of the address bar to save it

I am aware that I can save an about: page as a bookmark. I've long had
about:restartrequired bookmarked. But "Restart Required" is in the Name
field, and "about:restartrequired" is in the Location field as expected.

In the bit I wrote that you deliberately ignored, I stated that URLs were
in the Name fields of these bookmarks. Not only did you guess wrong in a
most unhelpful way, you offered the errorneous guess having ignored that
I had already stated something else.

>Or, maybe you imported bookmarks, and some about: pages were in
>the old bookmarks.

And now you increase the unhelpfulness by offering still more guesses
that are irrelevant to my situation.

Sorry, God, for making a mistake. Only you are God here.

No one would know what is the full extent of your expertise. Touchy
touchy.

Even you don't know how those bookmarks got defined, so you can only
make guesses, too.

I already stated the <Title> tag can be anything, including URL strings.

I'm well aware of your combative response, but I haven't yet decided to
filter you.

Still more condescension.

Still more condescension. I hit Ctrl-D, same as any other time I saved a
bookmark. Firefox's basic features aren't that difficult to use.

Yes. I said that in the root article.

Well, I knew that Firefox had crashed. Your guess wasn't related to
reality.

Yes, Vanguard. You're now offering a guess that an about: page had a URL
from an unrelated Web page?

Wow. Thank you. That guess was brilliant.

Why should you? I bit your troll. Again.

Well, hope you find a resolution from the plethora of other respondents.

I started the thread to ask if others could check their own saved bookmarks
for the same weirdness. No one else reported anything similar. My own
guess that it happened while Firefox was crashing is likely correct.

In any event, once I discovered these weird bookmarks and deleted them,
it fixed the other symptom I was experiencing that Firefox was showing
various pages matching saved bookmarks while the page was loading, with
the match indication disappearing once the page had fully loaded. The
match was probably to a bookmark of about:newtab.
