I find it very amusing that official Microslop text files, such as
are contained in their .msi and other installers, are TWICE the size
of ordianry text files due to the use of UTF-16. For every 8-bit ASCII
char there is a high 8-bits of all zeros. What a waste of space!

But that's the usual idiocy of Microslop.

WinNT is played out, save for specific needs to run apps, Linux is so
much smoother of a ride.

I haven't installed a Linux distro to bare metal in a long time. What's
smooth about it?

Don't know. My opinion is neither 'Windows' or 'subsystem' should be in
the name, since it's not actually a subsystem of Windows in any way,

alongside Windows, and with good performance.

WSL 2 is interesting, but not useful for production use of Linux GUI
apps under Win11, mostly for developers. It's a cool thing to have
achieved, though, for M$.

Dobbs rewrites this, it is invalid precedent. States are
liable for denying needed abortions, e.g. TX.

Maybe the emulation leaves something to be desired? Else there would not
be issues like this <https://github.com/libffi/libffi/issues/552>.

I've got two installed on one machine. Select Debian or Kali from the
pulldown in Windows terminal and you're in the Linux world.
