I saw this one a while ago. It didn't excite me.

I know, I know; it's a truck game! You lover those! But it['s not
really the TRUCKING that excites me. I've no endearing nostalgia for
"truck culture", CB Radio, the machismo of big engines, the stink of
diesel or the fumes of a badly maintained exhaust. I just like the
quiet driving down long highways, arriving at new city every virtual
night, and watching the scenery roll by. SCS' *Truck Simulator games
satisfy this itch with their huge, semi-realistic worlds but I've had
similar experiences with games like "My Summer Car" or "Jalopy". The
nature of the Truck Sim games, however, means I'm less likely to treat
my vehicle like a drag racer and instead - by need of keeping the
cargo intact - will take my time and enjoy the ride instead.

"Star Trucker" is more akin to games like "Big Mutha Trucker", with a
forced narrative, characters, and a need to haul hard to satisfy the
in-game economy. Not to mention its completely unrealistic setting.

TL;DR: "Star Trucker" will never scratch the same itch as SCS Truck
games; names aside, they are quite different genres of game.
