ah, I got this with the Humble Choice thingy at one point and gave it
away to one of my friends who is much more into Warhammer and stuff than
I am. (I think Warhammer's worldbuilding is kinda gauche)

So now I have it anyway. Humm...

Gnabbed the game. Torn about whether I'm excited or not. On the one
hand, it looks interesting; a tactical strategy game set in the
Warhammer Fantasy universe.

On the other hand, it's YET ANOTHER WARHAMMER game, in a market
already flooded with them. And it's got a ton of DLC, because if
there's one thing GDW likes more than flooding the market with its
goods, it's flooding the market with its goods subdivided into smaller
pieces.*

On the gripping hand, it's a GOG release, so it has no DRM. That - and
the fact that it's free - make for a very convincing argument in
favor of acquisition.

Oh, who am I kidding. I clicked the 'add to library' link hours ago.

Yes, but this is the one. My buddy let me grab a few high-powered weapons off his crew and I've been cutting through some missions like butter. I'm just waiting for my canned air to spray the dust out of my computer to continue. What you do is take down a mission and then get benefits from it. I like that model because it has a great amount of freedom.

Another thing my buddy told me about this game is it is incomplete. They sold an unfinished product. Yes, those dark war swept halls are barren because objectives are missing and who wants to search for that ugly looking currency they've got in that game?

It's got hooks, but you may find yourself having played for 100 hours being no closer to anything true than when you first started.

Although it wasn't my top priority after dusting, I do, and did have it installed with Steam when I said it is THE Warhammer game right now. That's rather high priority against my collection of 81 games.
