The website describes it as a "survival roguelite" but it
looks a lot more like a shooter to me. Well, I guess
anything is a rogue-like if you take away save states and
throw in an unnecessary skill system. Vaguely retro-graphic
visuals too. The only thing that would make it even more
'Indie" is if it had some sort of Lovecraftian connection.
Oh wait, it does?

Traditionally Christmas was only over on the 6th, when according to
tradition the three wise men arrived in Bethlehem. When we were kids it
was a thing that we had nativity scenes where the figures for the wise
men were moved forward a bit over the next two weeks until they finally
reached the Holy Family on the 6th.
I'm not actually sure if that wasn't just a local, or even just a family
tradition.

Although I believe that's true when I grow up it was defined as when the
Xmas tree was put up (a week before) and when it was taken down (a week
after).

If you're Russian Orthodox, you don't celebrate Christmas until
January 7th.

Of course, that's a bit of a cheat, since Russian Orthodox still uses
the old Julian Calendar so, according to their records, they're
actually celebrating it on the 25th (it's the other heathens who
wrongly are celebrating it on December 13th).

Still, if Epic /really/ wanted to keep giving away free games until
Jan 19th, I'm not opposed to the idea. ;-)
