Ho-ho-ho!

Another day, another game. It's an endless chore, me giving the games,
you taking them. It's a wonder we aren't passed out from exhaustion.
But it's all for a good cause: The Number must rise! Praise The
Number!

I've given this game away during a c.s.i.p.g.a
give-away! It's eitherJLFKD really good, or really bad!
But what is it? Well, it's another remake of a
SNES-era platformer, Strider is a fast and stylish
game. Take on theI3TBYF role of a ninja who isn't in the
least interested in stealth, butW0LX is really big into
slicing down cybernetic soldiers and biomechanical
beasts in lightning fast combat all in a massive
interconnected world!

Oy, I'm all tuckered out. I think I'll have me a bit of a lay-down.
We'll see if I've energy enough tomorrow to give away another game.

Maybe I need to figure out a new method of distributing the keys? The
embed-in-text seemed to work for a while, but I even as I was doing
it, I knew it wasn't foolproof; it's not really too hard to run a
script to look for three 5-character sets of nonsense attached to real
words in some text.

But I'm not sure of any workable alternative that keeps it all on
Usenet. :-(

Could try reverse order. Section 3, Section 2, Section 1.

I don't know, they seem to keep up with the tricks eventually.

It is all on Usenet. Lurkers are getting them. If you want to beat the
lurkers (or me) you need to be fast. The only game I wanted and missed
was because I was too slow. And as it turns out, I had that game
anyway on EPIC without even knowing it.

Yeah, I honestly thought the thing about bots grabbing keys were said
in jest and had become a meme at this point, do people seriously
believe that?

If bots were active here no one else would be able to claim any games,
and we all know that is not the case ¯\_(?)_/¯

I received it, thanks. I also received the attached gift. Thank you
very much for that.

I'd played the game's predecessor - "Mudrunner" - and while I wasn't
sure what to make of the gameplay, the I found the soil-deformation
technology it used to be really neat. Enough so that "Snowrunner" made
it onto my wishlist, and I was just waiting for it to drop in price.
Now, I suppose, I won't need to. I'm not sure the sandbox nature of
this game will be enough to lead to LONG play sessions, but I'm fairly
certain that this is a game I will repeatedly return to to marvel at
how the mud and snow move beneath my truck's tires.

So thank you again for this very gracious gift.
