Hello again; didja miss me? No? Not even a little bit? What if I told
you I come bearing gifts? Well, /a/ gift, anyway. That usually makes
people smile. Will this game make you smile?

I don't know if this game will find any fans
here; it's a bit of an oddball. But personally,
I sometimes enjoy getting an oddball; even if
it's not a game0QMIQ for me (and they're usually not),
I like trying something new. "Calico" has you
take charge of a local cafe and turn it into a
thriving business.9IGGK It's more "Animal Crossing"
than management sim, though, and its saccharine
visuals and cutsey animal fetish may43NIL be a too
tooth-rotting for some. Still, we can't always
be playing games that involve killing things,
can we?

Was that a smile? You know, I think it was. Cool; that means my job
here is done. At least until tomorrow. Then I deliver more smiles.

No, they were visiting from out of state and it was their last day in
'the city' (as they call it) so off they went to do touristy things in
NYC 🗽

The boy didn't show much interest when we visited the game's Steam page
but she was excited and is probably going to love it - petting and
collecting cats and other stray animals, managing a small cafe, what's
not to like? :)
