In recent threads I've asked "Where is doing XYZ documented?".
The typical response is instead a discussion on doing XYZ.
Has anyone attempted a topical index to official/unofficial SeaMonkey
documentation?

The responses are valuable, but when something is written for
publications it has valuable nuances.

TIA

Go to the SeaMonky menu items and click on HELP and then click on
SEAMONKEY HELP. Viola all the Seamonkey documentation is indexed there.
I'm not sure if the index is up to date for the most recent versions of
SeaMonkey, but the index is useful and even offers a search box.

I'm confused.
I run SeaMonkey 2.49.4 on Debian 9.13 .
After opening the browser window I see a menu bar containing:
File | Edit| View | Go | Bookmarks | Tools | Window | Help
Clicking on "Help" yields:
Help Contents F1
Trouble Shooting Information
Release Notes
Restart with Add-ons Disabled
----------------------------------
Check for Updates
Report deceptive Site
----------------------------------
About Plugins
About SeaMonkey

IF you're referring to "Help Contents F1", that's where my frustration
began a couple of months ago ;{
E.G. My problem du jour is "profile migration".
Entering "profile" in F1's search box gives 8 hits.
None of those pages reference my problem.

I've done some DuckDuckGo searches yielding a dozen potential starting
points. One hit yielded 4 explicitly relevant pages:
https://www.seamonkey-project.org/doc/profiles#migrate

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_migration_-_SeaMonkey

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-
_SeaMonkey

https://wiki.mozilla.org/SeaMonkey:New_for_2.0#Profile_Migration
I would not be surprised to get another dozen useful URLs from them.

This led me to wonder if somebody had already done similar spade-work.
I looking forward to a productive long weekend.

Thank you.
