Media are also trying to interview him. Supposedly their have have requests

The biggest criticism seems to be that Carlson didn't constantly attack
him and allowed him to speak. Meanwhile, as a Slav with way too much
patience, I have to wonder why it is that people don't have the
attention span to have a long conversation with someone like Putin.
Speak to him, earn his trust, let him dig his own hole if he's guilty of
the worst crimes known to humanity. As it is though, he has earned my
respect; I trust him a lot more than I do the Western media.

I still have twenty minutes to go to the interview but I couldn't help
but feel that Tucker actually enjoyed speaking with Putin, probably as
much as I would have. Mind you, Putin's demeanor is no different than
every old Slav raised under Communism I've had long conversations with.
They love long conversations, but I guess that's something all of us
traditional Slavs enjoy.

I understand both Hitler and Putin's perspectives: Germany wanted Danzig
back but was willing to settle for a superhighway leading Germans there
and back. In reality, as of 1935 when Pilsudski died, Poland was acting
arrogantly toward Germany and was especially so in the weeks and months
preceding the attack on the country. Had he survived, they might have
been allies rather than enemies during the eventual war.

Poland had been re-created after WWI, severing Germany from East Prussia.
Like Zelensky they got stiff-necked when Germany asked to build a autobahn
to East Prussia rather than having to go be sea. They paid.

Again like Zelensky the Poles thought Britain had their six. Britain
didn't even have their own six as the BEF's ignominious retreat showed. If
Zelensky thinks Johnson is going to save his bacon I think he will be

From the little my parents have told me at the time, the entire country
was destroyed and had to rebuild, including the countryside. Whether the
Soviets actually helped that process through funding or material is up
to debate. They were liberated by the Soviets, but their liberty was
never restored as it was immediately clear that the Soviets controlled
their political process and eventually did so officially by forcing a
Communist government in. From that point on, the only liberty they had
was during the one hour on Sunday when they went to church and enjoyed a
compromised sermon. The Soviets would have preferred to completely
eradicated the church, but knew that the entire country would revolt if
they did so. As a result, they stayed out.

Little by little, young women emerged who couldn't be bothered to read a
history book. Because the socialist structure happened before they

Eventually. The Soviets parked themselves on the east banks of the
Vistula and waited for the remaining Germans and the Polish resistance in
Warsaw to destroy each other. They didn't want any uppity Poles around
like when they massacred the Polish officer class at Katyn Forest.

Communists aren't big on people who can think for themselves as witnessed
by Pol Pot's killing anyone with calluses on their fingers that suggested

They refused to fight because "it wasn't their battle." As a result,
they let the Polish resistance show what it was capable of against the
Nazis. The Poles fought fiercely but couldn't defeat a trained army with
greater weaponry.
