Hi All,

Whose temps are these? CPU, Mobo, HD?

rem Admin <cmd>
rem Results are in kelvin *10
rem °Celsius = (result / 10 ) - 273.15

wmic /namespace:\\root\wmi PATH MSAcpi_ThermalZoneTemperature get
CurrentTemperature

3010
3030

Converting:
(3010 ÷ 10) − 273.15 = 27.85
(3030 ÷ 10) − 273.15 = 29.85

Many thanks,
-T

Look in the Configure window.

On mine, only two of the items reported by
SpeedFan, are of type "ACPI", via the ATK0110 driver.
That is an Asus pseudo-device for passing ACPI access
to hardware, to user-space.

https://i.postimg.cc/90FYwqvZ/Core2-X48-Speedfan.gif

Notice in mine, "CPU" is listed twice. One
detection by Speedfan is physical, by visiting
the bus and reading the device while in user-space.

The other "CPU" declaration is an ACPI one. That means
the BIOS reads the CPU temperature sensor.

But looking at the chart of those, is far
from convincing.
