Qemu-kvm made me create a new virtual machine. I tried
to reuse the old virtual drive, but qemu-kvm picked up
its architecture. So I had to erase it and start over.
And I forgot the TPM module again. Chuckle.

In Widows Explorer, they moved folder options from
"View" drop down to the "..." drop down.

Windows explorer does not remember your view settings
for each folder after they are changed. Bit of
a pain in the butt.

The backwards right click context menu is also
a pain in the butt

"Beta" is what M$ calls their "general release".
This crap is "alpha" code.

22458 is no longer Windows 11.

It's the DEV stream of the product, possibly
headed towards 22H1 or something. Sometimes
that DEV stream is even further ahead, like
22H2 or so.

22000.xxx would be the release stream W11 plus
patches of xxx. When W11 is released in October,
the .xxx will be higher than the beta .xxx at
a guess.

It would then depend on what your objectives are,
as to which software you'd want to be installing.
Keep getting updates of 22458+ , then you're
seeing previews of what comes later, like 22H1.

Whereas downloading media on Oct.5 would be
release 22000.1 code, plus Windows Update
will pull in the first .xxx to go with it.
That, then, would give you a reference W11
installation to work with, just not activated
and with Personalize disabled.

When Mar 2022 arrives, the stream you have in
hand 22458+ will "touch down" for a few weeks
before the 22H1 release. Giving a preview of
22H1, before it enters general release.

You have to decide how many VMs to run, and
what stream is in each one. And whether
a stream is an Insider 22458+ or the stream
is an unactivated release 22000.xxx+ .

I will probably stick with 22458+ as I am looking
for any gotchas M$ might pull. 58 did flag my
missing TPM and legacy bios without secure boot.
I got away with all that on 22000. I had to
wipe and reinstall
