Not everyone. Many people get long COVID which is debilitating months after
recovering from the infection.

You were doing OKish up until now. That's false. It doesn't increase your
viral load.

When the population is highly vaccinated infections are not the biggest
worry, it's hospitalisations. What is quite clear from the data in many
countries is that link between infections and hospitalisations is much
weaker thanks to the vaccines.

Modern medicine has saved 100s of thousands or lives if not millions.

We know how to deal with variants now that we have several highly effective
vaccines. It'll be like the flu vaccine.

He's not a virologist. He claims to be a physician. If he really is he
should have his licence revoked as he's putting lives in danger. He is
pushing antivaxx tropes and is misrepresenting the actual science he claims
the CDC aren't following. Many of his claims are unsupported, meaningless
or simply plain wrong.

He's an antimasker which goes against the real science.

I hope this "physician" doesn't go the same way as this other antimasker.

several of the covid vaccines are significantly more effective than the
flu vaccines, and also appear to have longer durability, although it is
still too early to be completely sure just how long it is.

No, if I want to live life in a risky way, nobody has the right to stop me.

You've quoted psychologists, you lose. They belong in a circus.

We're in control of our cars.

boosters are not the same as annual jabs.

You don't need the explanation to disprove it. God doesn't exist until there is proof.

They are low quality jokes. Occasionally better than nothing, but usually fucking annoying. They're just too obvious to be funny.

Then you're a boring driver. I once managed to commit 8 at once! Those were counted as 1 in the above 14. Driving without a seatbelt at 25mph above the limit with no exhaust and 4 bald tyres and no handbrake. I received no fine but was required to have the brake and tyres fixed, which I was about to do anyway at the annual safety check, so no skin off my nose.

It's common sense to target those who are more likely to commit a crime.

Indeed there are.

But the point I was making is that where all parties are willing to
assume the risk, there doesn't have be a rule.
