Dear all,

I guess my question is rather simple, however, I could not fix my issue by myself right now. Here is a MWE:

\documentclass[11pt,a4paper]{scrreprt}

\usepackage[ngerman,english]{babel}
\usepackage[autooneside=true,automark]{scrlayer-scrpage}

%glossary
\usepackage[nopostdot,nonumberlist]{glossaries}
\makenoidxglossaries
%GlossaryEntriex.tex contains only two definitions of glossaries (Nomenclature and symbols)
\input{GlossaryEntries}

\begin{document}

%print glossary
\glsaddall
\clearpage
\printnoidxglossaries %shortcut to print all at once

\end{document}

The problem is that my two glossaries appear on two different pages, although I just declared one entry for each type and they would fit well on the same page. Adding
\setglossarysection{section}
to my document, indeed all glossaries are printed on one page, however, the headers and footers are modified somehow and the size of the glossaries-titles became much smaller.
What I would like to achieve is to print both glossaries below each other on a blank page.

Is there a simple \renewcommand{.....} solution to my problem?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Best
Simon

A MWE must be something that *we* can compile to test the issue

So why do you use a local file we don't have?

Sorry for not providing the necessary input.
Here is now a example which can be compiled and shows the issue.
Thanks in advance!

%MWE
\documentclass[11pt,a4paper]{scrreprt}

\usepackage[ngerman,english]{babel}
\usepackage[autooneside=true,automark]{scrlayer-scrpage}

%glossaries package
\usepackage[nopostdot,nonumberlist]{glossaries}
\makenoidxglossaries

\newglossary*{nomenclature}{Nomenclature}
\newglossary*{abbreviations}{List of Abbreviations}

\newglossaryentry{ex_nomenclature}
{ type=nomenclature,
name={ex1},
description={A description for a entry in the nomenclature},
sort=def
} \newglossaryentry{ex_abbreviation}
{ type=abbreviations,
name={ex2},
description={A description for a entry in the abbreviations},
sort=def
}

\begin{document}

%print glossary
\glsaddall
\printnoidxglossaries %shortcut to print all at once

\end{document}

Well the titles are \chapter's and chapter starts a new page.

You can use

\setglossarysection{section}
\printnoidxglossaries %shortcut to print all at once

or the package option section=section to get sections instead.
See the docu of glossaries 2.2 Sectioning, Headings and TOC Options

Thank you!
This is also the solution at which I arrived, however, as I stated in my question, the headers and footers are no longer empty after adding this command but match the set up of my pagestyle.
Is there also a similar, simple option or \set... command to achieve this, that is, I do not need to define a new pagestyle for my glossaries?

Ah, sorry I forgot to reread the question. But yes, if you use two
\section commands you get something different into the header than
with two chapter commands.

You could issue some mark command to change that but I think you
should stop to look only at the visual output and think about the
structure first. If you want to print them as sections consider to
add a \addchap{Glossaries} before both.
