Hey All!

So thanks to Rob Swindell, I finally managed to get The Warrior's Graveyard v1.0 up on the Synchronet gitlab page. Please check it out and let me know if you notice anythign odd. This is the same version (basically) as version 1.8 that was first released in 2002. There are a few hidden ghosts to find and various daily tasks that you can preform. Hopefully they aren't too generous and won't break the current game meta.

Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. It's not a huge IGM, but was a quick one to port over first. I already have a second IGM done, but will be working to expand it a bit first. Still hunting for the rest of my old source code. Using 20 year old backups is always... interesting :)

Hope to have 3 or 4 ported over by the time I'm finished.

Installed here, checking it out!

Question: should the option to flirt with the hag be available daily? I seem to recall it's always an option in the standard DOS Warrior's Graveyard, but in this version the option disappeared after my first flirt. Other actions like searching the grave of the good/evil man does restore just fine every day.

Very happy to see this IGM in LoRD 5! And so quickly after being announced too!

It is a daily event, so it should reset every day. If other options are resetting but not that one.. well that's a head scratcher. Nothing like that has popped up here locally.

If it doesn't pop up tomorrow AM, could you zip up and email me your gravyard.dat file? (dasme@dasme.org)

Thanks! I was shocked at how quickly I was able to get things running. Working on a couple others right now with help from the kids, so they may take a bit longer :)

Wait, just re-read this. You mean Tanya right? Not the hag. If so yes :) Just tested it again this AM for both M/F characters and all of the dailies seem to be resetting fine for me. Hopefully that was just a strange glitch you ran into.

I did in fact mean Helga the Hag in the shack. In the old DOS version, there's an option to flirt with her.

I can see now in the gravyard.gra file that that option is in fact left out of the SHACK menu in this version, so I must have never truly seen the option given like I thought. I was comparing the new one to the old one while play testing, and must have confused myself in the process. Sorry about that. I'll blame it on my giddiness for a new IGM. :P

I did try Tanya though, and that is indeed working as expected.

I don't even remember which version would have had that, nor the reason it was changed. Crazy how long ago that was haha. Thanks for checking it out!
